Live Debris is sustained by the various exchanges that occur within the project: exchange of ideas, techniques, materials, responsibilities, inspirations and art.

Gift Exchanges
Many of the participating artists helped and produced exhibition works in exchange for a work of art (or craft) made by US artist Taylor Cass Stevenson. The works were made from 100% reused materials, like bike inner tube, ironed plastic bags, guitar strings, plastic lids, plastic six-pack rings.

Materials Exchanges
Many of the works of art made for Live Debris were made with materials that were exchanged between people involved in Live Debris.

Trocas de Experiencias
The primary objective of Live Debris is to establish exchanges between the project's participants that will continue. By organizing casual events like workshops, materials exchanges, crafting gatherings and brainstorming sessions, the project aims not only to unite people and teach new ideas, but to also encourage further collaboration. Trocas de presentes
Muitos dos artistas participantes do projeto ajudaram ou produzem peças em troca de uma obra de arte (ou artesanato) feita pela artista americana Taylor Cass Stevenson. As peças foram feitas por 100% materiais reaproveitados como câmara de pneu de bicicleta, corda de violão, tampas de plástico, sacolas de plástico.

A meta principal de Escombros Vivos é de estabelecer trocas entre os participantes que vão continuar.
